Vesper is a daily puzzle published by Torrey Studio. It runs in your browser or as an installed app on your phone. This policy explains what is stored, what is not, and how sponsored notes work.

Who we are

The data controller for Vesper is Torrey Studio. Website: https://torrey.studio. Email: [email protected].

What we store

Progress lives on your device: streaks, times, settings, the current map, and whether you allow sponsored notes. This uses on-device storage (localStorage). We do not create an account, and we do not operate a player database for Vesper.

What we do not collect

Vesper does not ask for your name, email, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment card. We do not sell personal information.

Sponsored notes

If you allow sponsored notes, Vesper may show banners, a short rewarded note for hints, and an occasional full-screen note after a practice map. AdSense and AdMob unit IDs are not filled yet, so these notes are first-party placeholders. When Google AdSense (web) or Google AdMob (store builds) is connected, that partner may receive a device identifier, IP address, and approximate location in order to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent and their own policies.

You can turn sponsored notes off in Settings. Hints then cost Glow, which is earned by finishing maps.

Children

Vesper is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Retention

Clearing site data, uninstalling the app, or using your browser’s “clear storage” control deletes your local progress. We cannot restore it.
